What is the use of a high pressure switch?

The pressure switch is an electromechanical device designed to work with fluids at a high pressure that opens or closes an electric control contact as a given pre-calibrated pressure value is reached. Therefore, it is a tool that activates through an electric contact when the water pressure goes up or down a certain pressure threshold. In general, following the pressure value that is detected, the pressure switch activates a movement on a plunger resulting in an electric contact, which in its turn kicks off an action.

Emiltec offers several types of high pressure switches, which are particularly suitable tu turn off and on the electric motor running the plunger pump.
